A while ago I researched Spike’s history and we found him in the ACE studbook listed as Revelwood Geroni. A few days ago I was randomly searching through it again and saw that his named had been changed to Revelwood Geronimo.
I emailed ACE to ask them which was the correct name and I got a response from them this morning. Apparently the name actually IS Geronimo and Geroni was just a typing error. Wish I’d have known that before I got this…
I emailed the lady at ACE back and mentioned that the reason I was asking was because I own the horse, and it’d be nice to have more info on him. She asked that I send through photos to confirm his identity (I suppose?) and she would be able to send me any info she had.
So of course I raced out to see him this afternoon to take some photos and was met by this…
Clearly someone has enjoyed the rain over the last few days! Looks like this weekend is going to be dedicated to baths and brushing out that birds nest of a mane. Does anyone else’s horse turn in to an absolute mud monkey when it rains?
Spike is a beautiful horse. Too bad about the tattoo. I wish I knew more about horses.
